Select portlet

Here you select which portlet you want to copy the information from. You simply navigate to the page and desired portlet and click OK.

A TIP! There is also a linked layout located in Content. If right clicking and choosing the alternative Add layout -> linked layout you will receive a copy of a whole layout containing several portlets. This can also be done in template mode compared with linked portlet that only shows the content on the web place.

In order to find the "original layout," you right click the linked portlet and select Properties. Here you find the alternative Source where the address is located to the page with the layout.
Permission rights! In order to use a linked layout you need to have the permission "Create linked layout".
