Page
Create a page containing portlets. In the field Name you enter the name of the page, remember that the name should be a descriptive name since the name will appear in all menus etc. After that you have to choose what template the page should be based upon. All web pages are based upon page templates that the administrator has created. To get an idea of the templates appearance you can click the button Preview to see the template in a new window.
Link
Create a link to an internal or external web page. In the field Name you enter the name of the link that also will be visible in menus etc. The link URL is chosen by clicking the button Browse, more information about links are available here.Links are visible in the menus and are useful if you, for example, want to insert external web pages in your menus on your web site.
Website
You choose this option if you want to create a new web site. Here you specify the name, address and language. The address is the address that the web site should respond to, for example www.senselogic.se. The language is the language that the content of the pages uses.Archive
Create an archive that is used as a storage when creating articles. Archives are used by some portlets such as the news portlet.Folder
A folder is used to create structure and group pages, if you do not want an "index page". Folders will not be linked into menus etc.Structural object (Structural page, Structural folder, Structural link)
These alternatives are to be used if wanting to show one or more pages at several different locations on the web site. It is similar to "linked portlet" but concerns pages. Give the "copy" a name and point out the original.With these structures you can build an alternate navigation through pointing out existing pages with structural pages and create a branch with selected pages for example only for students. You can not edit the pages since they are only mirroring other pages located somewhere else on the web site. The same publishing rules are in effect as for regular pages.
Publishing rules applies to structural page in the same way as regular pages. It's not possible to edit structural pages since they only reflects the content of another page.
