Edit image

If you right click on an image in the image archive you will see a pop-up menu:

If you select the Edit image option a simple image editor will appear with the selected image.

Icons

When editing an image it will automatically be saved as a copy of the original image, i.e. the original image will always stay unedited. Below you will find the most common functions to edit an image:

Select an area

Selects a user specified area. Click and drag. A red frame will highlight the selected area.

Crop the image

Crops the selected area of the image.

Darken the image

If the image is too bright you can darken the image with this button.

Brighten the image

If the image is too dark you can brighten the image with this button.

Rotate clockwise/counter-clockwise

Rotates the image 90°.

Change the size

Scales the image to alter the size of it. By scaling the image you will get a better quality of the image compared to using the Stretch image to available area that you can find on the tab Settings.
