Fileshare

With the fileshare portlet you can share your files and folders in an easy manner on the web site. The user/visitor can upload their own files to be shared.
It is important to give the files a descriptive name since it is the name that will be visible in the fileshare portlet on the web page.

You can choose to show folders and files or to only show files. If you display folders you can enter every folder and see all the files in the shared folder. You are also able to delete files if you have the rights for it, otherwise the red cross will not be visible.

By default the icons for document type, file size and date are shown for when the file were uploaded on the server.

A tip for accessibility! In order to increase accessibility you only need to be exact to a certain point. Round number e.g. file sizes and number of people to two significant numbers.

All number with more than two digits are to be rounded to the nearest number with two significant numbers e.g. 362 kB -> 360kB.
