Linked portlet

A linked portlet is used for showing the content from a portlet on another place within the web site. If you for instance have a table with contact information on a contact page and want to display the same content on the human resources page you can use the Linked portlet. By using the linked portlet, a copy of the original portlet is shown on the linked page.

If you want to make changes to the portlet you have to make the changes on the page where the "original" portlet is located.
