Proxy

The Proxy portlet enables linking of an external web site or application so that it will become a part of the web site. The content is incorporated into the page where the proxy is located so that the linked in web page can e.g. utilize the graphical design of the web site.

If the external application is utilizing the same directory there will be an automatic login so that it is not necessary to log in to the application/web page.

It is also possible to change the linked in web page or application by XSL e.g to remove header, footer or additional navigation.

OBSERVE! This portlet is not intended to be used as protection for referenced applications. Authentication and authorization must be dealt with by the corresponding applications.
