Subscription

With subscription users can subscribe for news or updates on a certain page. The function Subscription is used together with the portlet Subscription.

Beneath Subscription you can make a page active for subscription. Then you can choose to notify subscribers when publishing a page.

Here you also manage the subscribers and make the settings for sender, subject, and the design of the message.

Observe! In order for the Subscription to work you need to make the necessary settings for subscription.

Here you activate or deactivate a subscription, that is, possible to subscribe to. You decide if the subscription is valid for Only the current object or the Current object and the subpages.

When the user sign up for a subscription this description will guide the user.

Configure

If you click this alternative you can add a sender and configure the appearance for the email.

Observe! This must be an email address in order for the subscription to function correctly. There can be no ordinary text in this field.

Sender

Here you fill in the mail address for sender.

Template

The tab template has the following appearance:

The first line mean it will will show the written message (see notification).

The second line means the link will be displayed to the page with the subscription. Below you can add more text for instance add a page footer.

Manage subscribers

Add subscriber

In order to add a subscriber, click the plus sign. A new window will open where you can add an email address.

Remove subscriber

Highlight the subscriber you would like to remove and click the minus sign.

Import new subscribers from text file (one email address per row)

Here you can choose to import a text file containing a list with email addresses for subscribers for the current subscription. The list must be a text file for instance (tex NotePad, WordPad) and can only contain one email address per row. Browse to the file.
