Translate page

Translate page is an icon in the Navigator which automatically copies the highlighted page to a new similar page but with a different page template (in another language) and adds the new page in an adequate place in the structure.

Tip! Create a page template by using the "Translate page" icon and translate the template elements into the new language .

Also create a folder in the Navigator for the pages in the new language. Set correct language on the folder before you start copying pages into it.

Click on the icon "Translate page".

A new window will open:

New language

Here you choose which language the page is to be translated into, and you also give the new page a new name. The name of the original page is in the field "Name" to be overwritten.

Click on Next and you will see a new window:

Template

Here is a page template suggested that is matching the selected language. Or you can select the page template you would like to use.

OBSERVE! To get a correct suggestion it requires the same language settings on the page template as on the page you are creating.

Destination

By clicking on Browse you select where to add the new page in the structure. (As a suggestion use a folder with the correct language settings). If you are translating an underlying page the system will suggest a destination.

OBSERVE! This functionality does not translate the content of a page into another language. It only makes it easier to translate pages.
