The Information panel is located on several different items in SiteVision. What information you can see differs depending on where in the editor you are.
By clicking the Information panel, you will get to a summary of the information for the page, template, or structure item. Here you can see who created and published the item and when it was done. The address you see is a direct link to the page. At the bottom, you will see an ID number that is unique to that particular item.
Because linking between pages and structures is an important part of your website and navigation, it is a good idea to keep track of which pages link to the page you are on. You can do this by clicking on the View pages link and the other items that link here. A list is drops down that displays the pages and items that link to the page you are on. On the left, you have the path to the page or item, and to the right you see who created the link.
It is a good idea to check which other pages and items link to your page before making major changes, and of course before you delete a page. Broken links are no good to anyone.
Via the panel Information on a module, layout, grid, grid row, view, or column, you can find information about the item. You can see the address of the item and its ID number.
You can see who created and changed the archive and when it was done via the panel Information on an article, image or file archive and via folders.
