Show pages

Pages is the default view in the Navigator menu. Here you can see the entire structure of the website. Content in the form of pages, folders, and archives. It also shows the current status of each item using page icons.

Item types

There are several item types on a website. For example, pages, links, folders, and articles. All appear in the navigator, and the different item types have their own icons.

SiteVision Server

If you are logged in using the system account, you will see the server item icon.

House/Website

The starting point of the website. Start Page also default.

Published page

The website is published. The page looks the same in the editor as online.

Published page with changes

The web page has changed since it was last published. The page may look different in the editor, compared to online. This icon is a reminder to publish the changes made.

Unpublished page

A page that is not published, or is unpublished. Only visible in the editor.

Scheduled publishing

A page has scheduled publishing, or unpublishing. The page also receives this icon if you publish a sub-page to a non published page.

Archive

The archive collects the articles created on the website.

Articles

Do not normally appear in menus, but are always listed in an archive. They appear on the web page using the News, News menu, Events calendar, Links list or Blog modules.

Folders

It is possible to collate the contents of your website in folders.

Link page

Link page creates a menu option in your structure. For example, if you want a link in the menu on the website.

Structure object

A structure object can be a page or folder for example. A structure page displays a page in different places on the website.

A page is available as a translated version. Read more on the Translations page.

To view the navigator, "View navigator" permission is required.

To create a new web page, "Create page" permission is required.
To create a new website, "Create website" permission is required.
To create a new link page, "Create link" permission is required.
To create a new archive, "Create archive" permission is required.
To create a new folder, "Create folder" permission is required.
To create a new structure object, "Create structure object" permission is required.
