File archive
Files are listed in the module All files via the link "Show file archive" in the module Files. The file list is sorted so that the last uploaded file is at the top and it can be resorted by the column headings.
Click on a linked file name to show detailed information about the file. Click on the person who changed the file to go to their profile page.
Navigation
The list can also contain folders, click on a folder name to enter the folder. To go back, click in the link path in the top left corner or use the browser's back button.
Search
In the "Search all files" box, search all files in the group whether you are in a folder or directly in the file archive. The search is made in both the names and content of the files. Empty the search field to get back to where you were last.
Labels
Labels associated with the files appear on the left. Click on a label to only display files with that label. Click again on the same tag to get back to where you were last.
Manage file archive
Group members automatically have the right to manage the group's file archive.
Upload file
New files to the group can be uploaded via the "Upload file" button. If search or tag selection is made, the button is not visible.
Create folder
Click the cog button, select the "Create folder" option and give it a name. The newly created folder will be placed where you are in the structure, directly in the archive in the example above.
Rename folder
Navigate in the current folder, click the cog button and select the option "Rename 'xxx". You can change the name of the folder you are in.
Move file or folder
Select the file or folder you want to move in the check box to the left of the name, click the cog button and select the "Cut" option, the name will be greyed out.
You can only move files within the custom group.
Navigate to the current folder - if it is down in the structure by clicking in the list, if it is up in the structure by clicking in the link path in the top left. Click the cog button again and select "Paste".
Perform a search to get hit on the files you want to move, select "Select All" and "Cut".
Delete file or folder
Select the file or folder you want to delete in the check box to the left of the name, click the cog button and select the “Delete” option. You will be asked if you want to delete the file.
