In the Best beforepanel, you can enable a reminder to review page content for a certain time after a page has been published. Here you can select whether the Best before option is to always be ticked or not when publishing to remind editors to update the page.
From the time you make this setting, the editors will receive a best before date as a suggestion. So if you have set 6 months, the editors will start receiving mail after 6 months (on the pages where they published the page after this function is activated)
Tick the box to make sure the best before option is always ticked when publishing a page. The setting selects dates based on the number of months that are ticked. Select a month to set the Best before date to one month from the date of publication.
If the Best before box has already been stated, this date is left as is (the system does not suggest a new date), but you can change the date if you wish.
Here you can set up who should receive the notification. If you do not set anything here, the notification will go to the person who published the page. If the person publishing the page does not have an e-mail address specified in the directory, the notification will go to the website manager.
To add a recipient, click the Add recipients link to see a new view.
Here you can set the number of months that you want to be the default for a notification. The default setting is 6 months.
(Note that the number of months is a suggestion. The person publishing the page can adjust the date.)
Here you enter what you want to appear in the e-mail subject line. The default text is "A page needs to be reviewed".
Here you enter what you want to appear in the outgoing e-mail.
Click this if you want the default content in the e-mail.
