Rendering properties on a layout in a page template

Rendering properties on a layout in a page template almost looks the same as the GUI used on layouts on pages. This page describes the difference.
Rendering properties at a template

Width restrictions

If one want to use an elastic layout the restrictions should use percent and a minimum and maximum width (in order to avoid that the layout should use the whole browser width).

Min width

Configuration of the minimum width on the layout. Make sure that images in the page heading has enough room to fit in!

Max width

Configuration of the maximum width on the layout.

Internet Explorer 6 doesn't support the CSS attribute min-width and max-width (minimum and maximum width). In IE6 is it possible to use a script to set these limitations. If min-width and/or max-width it's recommend to control how the page looks in a IE6 browser.
