Panels Views on a layout
When you right-click on a layout/grid/grid row/grid column, at the bottom you can choose to go to the layout's properties. The Views panel displays the following information:
Activate selectable views
Enables the selectable views.
Permit selection of multiple views
By default, select ONE view - the list is displayed as single selection option. If you tick this box, it will be possible to select MULTIPLE views - the list will appear as multiple selection option.
Permit the visitor to move views
Tick this box if the visitor is allowed to move around his or her selectable views.
Description
Here you fill in your own description for a selectable view. The description appears in the window when the visitor clicks the selectable views icon. If you do not fill in a custom description, the following default text is printed: “Select what to show in this view".
If a selectable view is on a group page in Social Collaboration, the "Manage selectable views" right is required to move and rearrange the views and to select which views to display for all group members.
