Tags on an archive

You can help the editor to tag a news item. You can do this by making two choices. Firstly, you can say that a news item published in the archive MUST have at least one tag. You can also pre-fill tags on the news published in the archive.

Use custom settings for tags

By default, no tag settings are displayed. Select "Use custom settings for tags". A new view will appear.

Select tag groups

If you click in the box under Select tag groups , the tag groups you created will be displayed. Here you choose which tag groups should be selectable under this archive.

Allow to write/import custom tags

Here you choose whether you want to allow editors to fill in their own labels when publishing.

If you choose to fill in a custom value "Usability", this value will also become a tag. But it will not appear in the list of pre-created tags. However, you can list all pages/images/files/posts/user fields that are tagged with this label.

Require tags when publishing

By checking the box, a label must be selected before the news item in the archive can be published. If you do not have a tag selected, an error message will appear describing this.

Use predefined tags

You can help your editors by predefining which tags should be set on the news in the archive. To do this, click the checkbox and then select the tags. The tags displayed are the tags available from the tag groups you selected.
