In the Blog panel you can specify that the users who create blog posts automatically get a role when creating a post.
Permission
Add role for article creator
This setting is for those users who do not have many permissions on the website but who should still be granted permission on the blog post they create to enable them to modify or delete their blog post.
This requires anyone who has the ability to create a blog post to have the "Create page" permission on the blog archive. For example, the entire IT department.
They are then assigned the role that is highlighted here in the blog settings. The list contains all the roles on the website.
This function requires you to have "Manage website settings" permission
