    • The columns become narrower the more levels you nest because the same number of columns are used at the underlying level
  • Fixed fluid grid
    • Percent based
    • Nested in a level
    • Consistent column sizes when nested

Starting template with a grid with 12 cloumns - 8 of them to template content

When you work with a fluid grid, you always start from as many columns as there in total, i.e. 12 in this example.

When you work with a fixed fluid grid, you start from how many columns there are in the template area, i.e. 8 in this example.
