Piwik PRO - Goal Tracking

With the Piwik PRO – Goal Tracking module, you can link a goal you have created in Piwik PRO to a page or view on your website. When the page is displayed, or when the conditions for the view are met, the goal is automatically triggered.

A common use case is to measure how many users reach a specific page. In that case, you place the module on the relevant page and the goal is registered when the page is viewed.

Another example is to place the module in a specific view, where the goal is triggered only when a certain criterion is met, for example, when the user has performed a specific action.

Track only once per session

If this setting is enabled, the goal will be recorded at most once per session.

Example: A user opens a page and triggers the goal (registered). If the user then repeats the same action several times during the same visit, the goal is not registered again. Only when the user starts a new session can the goal be registered again.
