Guide: Structured Content and Frequently Asked Questions with AI

With Sitevision AI, you can generate relevant questions and answers based on a page’s content and display them to visitors using the Frequently Asked Questions module.

This makes it easier for visitors to find answers to their questions and contributes to clearer, more structured content.

Structuring content in this way is also part of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), which focuses on making content easier for search engines and AI services to understand and use.

Before you begin

To work with structured content, you need:

• Have access to Sitevision AI and an AI service.
• Have the Structured Content feature enabled on the relevant page.
• Have access to the Frequently Asked Questions module, available in the Sitevision Marketplace.

1. Select an AI service for structured content

Start by selecting which AI service to use to analyze the page’s content and generate suggestions for questions and answers.

1. Go to Site Settings and select AI.
2. Select the Text Generation panel, then Structured Content.
3. Select the AI service you want to use.

Once you’ve selected an AI service, the feature can be enabled on the pages where you want to work with questions and answers.

2. Enable Structured Content on the page

You need to enable Structured Content on every page where you want to be able to generate questions and answers.

1. Go to the page where you want to use the feature.
2. Open the page’s Properties.
3. Under General -> Structured Content, you can enable the feature.

The page is now ready to use Sitevision AI to generate questions and answers based on the page’s content.

3. Generate Questions and Answers

Once you’ve enabled Structured Content on the page, you can use Sitevision AI to generate suggested questions and answers based on the page’s content.

1. Go to the page where you’ve enabled Structured Content.
2. In the publishing dialog under Structured Content or Page Properties -> General -> Structured Content, click the Generate Questions and Answers button.
3. Sitevision AI analyzes the page’s content and generates suggestions for relevant questions and answers.

Review the generated questions and answers to ensure that the information is accurate and relevant.

4. Display questions and answers using the Frequently Asked Questions module

With the FAQs module, you can display the questions and answers generated using Structured Content.

1. Go to the page where you want to display the questions and answers.
2. Add the FAQs module.
3. Configure the desired settings for how the questions and answers should be displayed.

Place answers in a collapsible field

Check the "Place answers in a collapsible field" box if you want the answers to be hidden until the visitor clicks on a question to view the answer.

This can be a good option if you have many questions and want to make the page easier to navigate.

5. Check the results

Once you’ve added the module, you should check how the questions and answers appear to visitors.

Make sure the questions are clear, the answers are correct, and the presentation works as intended.

Also, remember to review the questions and answers whenever the page’s content changes, so the information remains up to date.
