File share
The File share module allows you to designate a folder in the file archive that automatically publishes all files added to that folder. The module allows authorized users to upload files directly on the page and delete files, without entering edit mode.
An example of use is if you regularly have minutes to be published. Instead of uploading the document, creating a link and linking to the file, it is enough to upload the file to the folder.

Displays a list of all files in the selected folder
It is important that you name the files appropriately as it is the file name that is displayed on the page. You can choose to display folders or just files. You can also delete and/or add files directly on the web page (if you have the right permissions).

If you set up that uploading files is allowed, the user can do it directly on the web page. Only those who have permission will see the Upload file button.
You can also set to select certain allowed file types to be uploaded.
Please note that all files placed in a folder used by file sharing are automatically published! That is to say, as soon as you upload a document in the protocol folder, it will appear on the website.
Settings in File share

Folders
Select folder
Under Select folder, select the folder of files to be displayed in the file share. Click on the file icon on the right and browse to the folder to be displayed in the file archive.
Anything you or anyone else (who has permission to access the folder) adds to this folder will appear directly on the web page containing the file sharing module. There is no publishing required. The file is displayed as soon as it is in the folder in the file archive.
Settings and preferences
Show folders
Check the Show folders option if you want to show folders in the file share. A folder will then appear at the bottom of the list of files. Click on the folder to see what is in that folder.
Show file size and upload date
Check the Show file size and upload date box to display this information below the name of the file.
Allow uploading of files
Check the Allow file upload option if you want the user to be able to upload files directly via the website. The user sees the "Upload file" button and can browse for a file on their computer. The user then clicks Add to upload the file to the file folder used in the file sharing module.
In order to upload files, the user needs to have Write and Publish permissions on the folder designated in the file archive.
SVG, SVGZ, HTM and HTML files cannot be uploaded. An error message "SVG and HTML files are not allowed" is displayed.
Set a maximum file size in MB
Here you can specify whether you want to prevent uploading documents that are too large. The default setting is 25 MB.
Select file types to allow
Here you can specify whether only certain file types are allowed to be uploaded. For example, only .pdf or .docx.
You specify file extensions with a dot. Separate with commas if you allow multiple file types.
If you specify .pdf, only .pdf files will be possible to select when uploading a file, other files are grayed out.
Allow deletion of files
Check this option to allow the user to delete files. Click on the dots to the right of the file name to select the "Delete file" option.
To delete files, the Write and Delete permission is required on the folder designated in the file archive.
Accessibility
Highest heading level
To enable you to have correct heading levels in the module, we have added an h2 as the default heading level. Here you can change this to suit your design and get the right heading level. It is possible to change everything from h1-h6 to be able to match the correct heading level in the file sharing module.
