After clicking on the Add font family link, a new window will appear. Here you can upload web fonts in the woff2 format.

Web fonts

Here you can see the web fonts you have on your website and add new ones by clicking on the Add web font link.

Font file

In this view upload your woff2 file. If you want to have the font in several different weights, you can upload several different versions of the file.

Font weight and style

Here you link the font file you uploaded to a weight. There are 9 different weights - instead of a checkbox for bold style, you choose for example Bold, Extra Bold or Black. Sitevision generates what is needed, we load the files, cache them, etc.

Use preload

You can check this if you want to preload a font, it can speed up the experience for a visitor to the page.

However, this should not be checked on all fonts, but only on the fonts used on all pages, for example if it is used in the menu or body text.

Advanced tab

Under the advanced tab, you can set how the text on the website is displayed before the font has finished loading by the browser.

The browser has different methods for how the font is displayed before it has finished downloading. By default, the Swap option is used.
