Button

The button module allows you to easily create linked buttons. You just set what you want the button to say, choose the link target, button type and size.

Settings Button

General

Under General, set what the button should say and where it should link to.

Text

Here you fill in what the button should say.

Link target

Here you indicate where the button should lead. The usual link dialog opens and you can select internal/external/link to file/link to image/e-mail address or phone number.

Appearance

Type

Here you choose the type of button you want.

  • Default
  • Ghost
  • Link

Color

There are five different button types with different color themes.

  • Default
  • Primary
  • Secondary
  • Success
  • Danger
  • Info
  • Warning
  • Brand

Size

Here there are three different sizes that are also related to Envision.

  • Default
  • Small
  • Slim
  • Large

Justify

Here you can choose the position of the button:

  • Left
  • Center
  • Right
  • Blocking (100% width) - Select this if you want the button to take up the whole space.

Button settings in Theme

In Theme under Buttons, you can make settings for the button. For example which font you want the text on the button to have and border radius.

You can configure the color settings for buttons under Element Colors in Theme.

Goal settings

Use goal tracking

Check this box if you want to be able to use goal tracking in the button module. You can then follow up on goals set in PiwikPRO with a widget to easily see how the goal is progressing.

The goals you have set in Piwik PRO are displayed here in a list.

If you want the editors to use this button module instead of the older button module, you can remove the Button on the editor role, then the option to outsource the old button module disappears. You customize roles under website settings/security/role
