Intranet search

The intranet uses the Intranet Search module. It is located in the header of the basic intranet template.

Customize intranet search

In the module settings for Intranet Search you can customize:

• The text in the search field (placeholder)
• How many search hits should be displayed
• Which content to display, such as documents, users, posts and groups.

Customize which user fields are displayed in search

To customize which user fields (name, email address, phone number, etc.) are displayed directly in the search results, go to Website settings / Functions / Social Collaboration. What is under Small view is what is shown in the intranet search.

You can add more fields with the plus sign at the bottom or remove them with the cross next to each field. You can also change the order in which they are displayed by dragging and dropping.

Note that the user's name is always displayed if you have chosen to show users in search (see module settings for intranet search).
