The subpage template is used for common information pages on the intranet.

Thesubpage template is available in two variants. The standard version has a submenu on the left-hand side. There is also a variant without a menu, called subpage without left menu.

The template contains a content area (main content) with the modules:

• Text module Heading
• Text module Ingress
• Text module Content

Linked components and metadata

The subpage template contains the following linked components that are managed in the Header and Footer components template:

• Last updated and last updated by (system host)
• Footer tool Article (Share page, Favorite, Print)
• Content manager metadata field (identifies a user who receives emails about Best before functionality)
• Link path (breadcrumbs) linked in from the Template components.
• The Show hidden pages in link path (breadcrumbs) metadata allows you to ensure that pages hidden in menus are shown in the link path.
