Components
Our component templates contain the original intranet modules.
We have chosen to divide them into different templates where the name of the template describes where the component is used. The modules are then linked to the page templates.
Example:
In the template Group components there is a Layout called Group components. This in turn contains a number of other layouts which in turn hold different modules.
When this is to be used in the group template, we choose to link the entire layout Group components, like this:
By doing so, we save time and resources when managing the intranet. Say you have several group templates where this module/layout should be used. Then you only need to change it in one place as the linked area reflects the original. If we had instead put the original with all the layouts on each group template, it would quickly become a lot to overview and maintain.
In the menu on the left you will find all the different component templates used for the intranet. We will describe what you can find in each template.
