Permissions - Search

One of the many advantages of SiteVision is the ability to permission control content and parts of the editor. Permissions are assigned to a user by using roles. A role consists of a number of rights. Here you can find out about the different rights under the Search category.

The rights under the Search category control settings for the search function in SiteVision.

Modify search priority

The right to Modify search priority allows users to increase or decrease the priority a page has in search results. This right is combined with the rights Show page, Show file archive and/or Shoq image archive.

Manage external search engines

The right to Manage external search engines allows users to make settings for Sitemaps.

Manage custom search index

The right to Manage custom search index allows users to make settings in existing custom search indexes. Can be combined with the Create custom search index right.

Create custom search index

The right to Create custom search index allows users to create and/or delete their own search indexes. Can be combined with the Manage custom search index right.
