Permissions - Create
One of the many advantages of SiteVision is the ability to permission control content and parts of the editor. Permissions are assigned to a user by using roles. A role consists of a number of rights. Here you can find out about the different rights under the Create category.
Create
The rights under the Create category control what type of items users are allowed to create. This category also includes the rights to add layouts, linked layouts, and responsive parts.
Create page
The right to Create page allows users to create new web pages in the page structure. Can be useful when used with the Show pages right.
Create group page
The right to Create Group page allows users to create group pages (groups) in Social Collaboration. You can only add a group page to a group folder.
Creating group pages requires a license for Social Collaboration.
Create website
The right to Create website allows users to create new websites.
The right is a remnant from the classic editor. In the new SiteVision 4 editor, you can only create new websites once you have logged into the system account.
Create link page
The right to Create link page allows users to create new link pages in the page structure.
Create archive
The right to Create archive allows users to create archives in the page structure.
Create folder
The Create folder right allows users to create folders with pages, files, images, templates, and decoration templates. This right is used together with the rights in the category Show to control which structures the user is allowed to create folders in.
Create group folder
The right to Create group folder allows users to create group folders in Social Collaboration in order to group group pages.
Creating group folders requires a license for Social Collaboration.
Create structural node
The right to Create structural node allows users to create structure pages, structure folders and structure pages.
Create template
The right to Create template allows users to create new templates in the template structure. This right must be combined with the Show page template right.
Create group template
The Create group template right allows users to create group templates on which group pages are based. This right must be combined with the Show page template right.
Creating group templates requires a license for Social Collaboration.
Create decoration template
The right to Create decoration template allows the user to create new decoration templates. This right must be combined with the Show decoration template right.
Add layout
The right to Add layout allows users to add layouts to pages, in templates, and decoration templates. This right is combined with rights Show pages, Show templates and Show decoration templates.
Add linked layout
The right to Add linked layout allows users to view content by linking it from a layout on another page. This right is combined with rights Show pages, Show templates and Show decoration templates..
Add grid, grid row and grid column
The right to Add grid, grid row and grid column allows users to add parts to get full responsive functionality. To see the settings for responsive web under Properties on a module, layout, grid, grid row or column, users must have permission Use responsive web.
