Permissions - Appearance
One of the many advantages of SiteVision is the ability to permission control content and parts of the editor. Permissions are assigned to a user by using roles. A role consists of a number of rights. Here you can find out about the different rights under the Appearance category.
Appearance
The rights under the Appearance category control the appearance changes users are allowed to make in, among other things, image, text and table modules. The category also includes several rights that are global and affect the appearance of the entire website. Those rights depend on the Manage Website Settings right.
Use bold and italic in texts
The right to Use bold and italic in text allows users to mark text as bold and/or italic in the text and table modules. Can be combined with permissions for style sheets and the text and table modules.
Use responsive web
The right to Use responsive web allows users to make settings for responsive web under Properties on module, layout, grid, grid row and/or column. The right can be combined with rights Add grid, grid row and grid column and Manage responsive web.
Use enhanced image editing
The right to Use enhanced image editing allows users to select filters and to apply colour to images in the image module. Can be combined with the Image module right.
Manage page layout
The right to Manage page layout allows users to right-click on a layout or module and make settings via the Properties option. This right also means, in combination with the Manage views right, that users can allow and create views on a layout.
In combination with the Manage decorations right, users can save the decoration.
Manage colours
The right to Manage colours allows users to create new colours and change colours that are available on the website. This right must be combined with the right to Manage website settings.
Manage style sheets
The right to Manage style sheets allows users to create new style sheets and change style sheets that are on the website. This right must be combined with the Manage website settings right.
Manage decorations
The right to Manage decorations allows users to save decorations (appearance settings). This right must be combined with the Manage page layout right.
In combination with the rights Manage website settings and Manage page layout rights, users can change and create decorations and CSS rules via Website settings. Together with the rights Show decoration template and Create decoration template users can create templates specifically for decorations.
Manage responsive web
The right to Manage responsive web allows users to enable responsive web on the website as well as add and manage breakpoints. Must be combined with the Manage website settings right and can also be combined with the Add grid, grid row and grid column and Use responsive web rights.
Manage table
The right to Manage table allows users to create tables without the predefined table type.
