Metadata types Module

This type of metadata retrieves its value from a module on a page. You can choose whether to retrieve from an identifier or name.

Exempel på modul som hämtar fråm YouTube

This metadata type looks for the identifier or name of a page, not in the template.

Retrieve module based on identifier

You can retrieve a module based on the technical identifier.

Retrieve module based on name

You can also retrieve a standard module in Sitevision based on its name. That is, the name you entered for the module in the page tree.

Value

  • Identifier - Enter the name of the technical identifier.

The name must begin with a letter or _ (underscore). The name may only contain the following characters a-z, A-Z, 0-9 and _.

  • Name - For example, if you want to retrieve an image called Icons, enter the value Icons here.

If you have duplicates, for example two modules with the same ID, the metadata will show the first hit.

Metadata is versioned, which means you must always publish the changes you make for them to appear online.

To add or modify a metadata field, the 'Manage metadata fields' permission is required.
