Intranet comments

With the intranet comments module, employees can easily comment and interact on the intranet. For example, you can post text, images and emojis and easily reply to other comments.

Preferences

In the module's settings, you set whether it should be possible to comment on posts for a limited number of days. If the box is checked, it is not possible to unlock new comments directly in the interface, but it must be done by unchecking the box in the settings.

To be able to moderate, delete and edit comments, you must be an administrator. The administrator must have write access to the page and be designated as an administrator in the module's configuration for users to be able to post comments. The option to submit a comment will only be available as an option if there are one or more administrators designated in the module's settings. When a notification is sent, an email is sent to administrators who can then decide whether the comment should be hidden/deleted or not.

Choose whether the comment field should be in moderated mode and an administrator approves each comment and reply before it is shown to everyone. If the comment field is moderated, you cannot edit a comment/reply. If the comment field is moderated, the administrator receives an email when a new comment/reply is available for review.

Translations

Allow your visitors to translate the posts in Intranet Comments by turning on the feature in the Global Settings. The Global Settings can be found in the Intranet Comments Add-on.

Metadata

You can use metadata (must point to the user ID) to identify the author of the page. The page will then have "author" next to the name when posting comments. The author of the page will also be notified when a new comment is posted on the page.

You can also choose a metadata to point out an administrator (must point to the user ID and be set up on the page)

This module requires you to have a license for Sitevision intranet 2022.
