Settings

Display as

• Slideshow - If you want one image to be displayed at a time and you scroll back and forth.
• Thumbnails - If you want all images to be displayed as thumbnails. When you click on the image, it will appear as a large image in a slideshow.

• Use metadata - Here, on the page where you have the slideshow, you can point out a metadata of the type "Related information" and point out a link to an image. You must point to each image individually, there is no support for pointing to a folder
• Use files or folders - Here you designate the folders or files from which the slideshow will retrieve the images.

Images

Here you can select a folder or standalone images from your central image archive or from images you have directly on the page. You can also combine multiple folders of standalone images.

Size

If you have selected Slideshow, this setting appears under Size.

Limit image size

By default, no limit on image size is set. But by clicking the checkbox for "Limit image size" you can set the maximum width of the image.

Fixed aspect ratio

If you also want to set a maximum height for the image, check "Fixed aspect ratio" and then set your desired maximum height.

If you have selected Thumbnails, this setting will appear under Size:

Thumbnail size

There are the following sizes to choose from. Medium is selected by default.

• Small
• Medium
• Large
• X Large

Thumbnails proportions

There are the following proportions to choose from. Landscape is selected by default.

• Landscape (3:2) - landscape image
• Square (1:1) - portrait
• Portrait (2:3) - portrait image

Appearance settings

The following appearance settings are only shown if you have selected Slideshow.

Show image caption

Check this if you want the image caption to appear with the image.

Show zoom button

Check this if you want there to be a button to zoom the image.

Show buttons and caption outside of image viewer

Check this if you want the buttons and caption to appear outside the image. You will also be able to change the size of the buttons and the color to be used. The colors are taken from the set theme.

Settings for automatic rotation

The following settings only appear if you have selected Slideshow.

Choose whether you want the slideshow to automatically switch slides and how long each slide is displayed. Also check if you want the slideshow to start automatically.

Other tips about the Image Viwer

Accessibility

The name of the module is used as an aria label which is used by, for example, screen readers to identify the content. It is advisable to name the module in a way that assistive technologies understand what the module displays. There must not be multiple slideshow modules with the same name on the page.
