Feedback
The comment module allows visitors to respond to and comment on the content of a page.
Once the visitor has responded, you can choose to display a drop-down view where the visitor can fill in feedback "Tell us more":

Filling in a text comment is optional.
If you post a text comment, a message will appear: Thank you for your feedback!
Global settings
Global settings are settings that you make to the Feedback module that apply to all Feedback modules used on the website.

There are three global settings you can configure:
- Enable Google reCAPTCHA spam protection
- Save information regarding the visitor's operating system
- Save information about the web browser's language

Enable Google reCAPTCHA v3 for use with this module
If you have not activated Google reCaptcha spam protection in global settings, you can also do so in each module when it is displayed on the page. The difference is that it will only apply to that module. If you have the module in several places and want to use reCaptcha, we recommend that you make the setting here in global settings.
Check the box "Enable Google reCaptcha v3 for use in the module" and fill in the Site key and Secret key you receive from Google.

Please note that it must be set to v3 for the keys to work.
Once the website is registered with Google, activate Captcha in SiteVision by entering the public and private keys that you receive upon registration.
- Site key - Public key.
- Secret key - Private key.
Saved data
Here you can choose whether data about the visitor's operating system and browser, as well as the visitor's language, should be saved. These boxes are checked by default, which means that this data is saved in the data store and included in the feedback email.

Reaction
First, select how many steps you want on the grading scale. Based on the number of steps you have selected, there are different reaction options you can choose from.

- 2
- 3
- 5
Response options
- Use thumbs up and thumbs down - Displays a thumbs up or thumbs down, can only be selected at 2 steps on the rating scale.
- Use buttons with text - Here you can fill in whatever you want on the buttons (usually Yes or No), can be selected at all steps on the rating scale.
- Use emojis - Displays emojis, can be selected at all steps on the rating scale.
If you choose buttons with text, you can set the color of the button using the Envision theme. Go to Website Settings -> Appearance -> Theme. Select Buttons and set the background color and text color.
This theme must then be activated on the template.
Free text field

Allow user to submit text feedback
- Always - If you select this option, a free text field will always be displayed in connection with reactions.
- Never - If you select this option, a free text field will never be displayed in connection with reactions.
- For selected reactions...- If you select this option, you can choose whether you want to display a free text field for all reactions, only negative reactions, or only positive reactions. You can select the options you want to check.
Free text field is mandatory
Here you specify when you want a free text field to be mandatory.
- Always - If you select this option, a free text field will always be displayed in connection with a reaction.
- Never - If you select this option, a free text field will never be displayed in connection with a reaction.
- For selected reactions...- If you select this option, you can choose whether you want to display a free text field for all reactions, only negative reactions, or only positive reactions. You can select the options you want to check.
Texts
Here you can enter the texts that are displayed in the module.

- Question - The default text is "Was this information helpful?"
- Text above message box - The default text is "How could it be better."
- Text on the Send button - The default text is "Send."
- Confirmation message - The default text is "Thank you for your feedback."
- Show text describing the scale - If you check this box, an input field will appear where you can enter explanatory text about the scale. For example, "Rate the page with stars. Five stars is the highest rating."
- Show information regarding the free text field - If you check this box, an input field will appear where you can enter explanatory text in connection with the free text field, for example regarding GDPR. For example, "Do not enter personal data here as this information is stored. Read our GDPR guidelines at www.foretaget.se/gdpr."
Manage feedback
Here you decide how you want to handle the data that is collected. You can choose both options if you wish.
- Save feedback in Data storage (requires Data storage license) - If you choose this option, all collected data will be saved in the data source. The plan is to build a DashApp for the upcoming Dashboard so that you can view and manage feedback in edit mode. However, for now, you are limited to what you can see and do in Data Sources mode.
- E-mail feedback - If you choose to activate this, an email will be sent every time someone has given their opinion. Either with just a reaction or if a comment has also been written, it will also be included. You can either specify a specific email address or use metadata to indicate who should receive the email (useful when the module is in the template and different people are responsible for different pages).

Here you can choose to activate reCaptcha if it is enabled in the global settings. On an intranet, you may not need to activate spam protection, but on an external website it is advisable. If it is not enabled in the global settings, the following message will appear:

The only thing you set here is where the information about captcha and its rules should be visible to the visitor. This is in accordance with the terms and conditions you agree to when you want to use reCaptcha.
- Show reCaptcha badge (displayed in the lower right corner of the page)
- Show reCaptcha-information as text (in connection to the module)

Appearance

Place reactions on a new line
Check this box if you want the icons (thumbs/stars/emojis) to appear on a separate line below the text.
Font for question
Choose from the format templates you have set up on the website.
Font for text above message box

Use a background color
Check this box and select a color if you want a background color around the entire module
Color of icon for positive/negative reaction
- Color of icon for positive reaction - only displayed if you have selected the thumbs up/down reaction type
- Color for negative reaction icon - only displayed if you have selected the thumbs up/down reaction type
