News list
The news list can display news from archives or from labels with three different appearances:
General
Here you choose the look you want. Depending on the choice you make, different sub-options are displayed.
- Gallery - Displays multiple news items in columns next to each other with the same height of the image.
- Hero - A single large news item is displayed with image and headline on a background plate on the image.
- List - Displays news in a list.
The news list is based on the search engine, so it behaves a little differently than the regular news module. Firstly, it may take longer for new articles to appear, as the pages must first be indexed. If you have selected the option "Hide in search" on an article, it will not appear in the news list.

Combine with values from user fields
If you have selected the labels you want to receive news about in a user field, select this option. This will be combined with the choice you made above - whether to show news from all archives, only certain structures or a particular label.
This option only appears if you have created a user field based on the type of labels.
Use target audiences for selection
If you have used audiences when publishing your articles, here you can choose to display the news aimed at one or more audiences. You can also filter the news list and only show news linked to certain audiences.
Start by choosing your essay's audience metadata. This is the metadata that you use to target your articles.
Evaluate dynamically from users
By checking the box, you look at the logged-in user's audience affiliation and present news accordingly. The news in the module is thus adapted to the target group to which the user belongs.
Evaluate from predefined target groups
This option displays selected news for all users, regardless of their audience. When you select audiences, the news that matches the selected audiences will be displayed in the list. This allows you to filter the news displayed using audiences.
