Piwik Pro - RESTApi

Piwik Pro - RESTApi is a module required to display Piwik Pro widgets on your dashboard, enable goal tracking and use the analysis wizard. The module handles all requests and communication between Sitevision and Piwik Pro.

Goal tracking or the Analytics wizard

If you intend to use goal tracking or the analytics wizard, you will need to access the plugin and set advanced restrictions. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Sitevision -> Plugins -> Search for "sv-piwik-pro-backend"
  2. Select Properties -> Restrictions
  3. For "All logged-in users", allow both GET and POST. GET is ticked by default.

You must also enter the Client ID and Client Secret under Site Settings -> Integration -> Web Analytics if you intend to use goal tracking or the Analytics Assistant.
