List groups

With the List Groups module, you can facilitate collaboration in your digital workplace by displaying groups by location or template. You can also sort the groups. Either in alphabetical order, number of group members or by when the last activity took place in the group. The list shows the group name, group photo and a button to quickly join and leave the group. You can also choose to display more information about the group, directly in the listing. Your users get a clear overview.

You can make the following settings in the module:

Selection

In the List Groups module, it is possible to make two types of selection. Selection by folder and selection by template

Selection by folder

When you make the selection by folder, you point to the folder in the structure where the groups you want to display are located.

Selection by template

When you select by template, you select the template that your group uses. Only the groups that use this template will be displayed.

Max amount of groups in list

Select how many groups to display.

Interactivity

In the module it is possible to join or leave a group, directly from the group listing. Check this if you want to make this feature available to users.

A link will appear to the right of each group.

List

Show group images

Check this box if you want to show the image linked to the group. You can choose to have a square image or round image.

Show group type

Check this box to display the group type directly after the group name. The group type can be Open or Moderated.

Show description

Check this box if you want to show the group description (if there is one).

Max characters from description

Here you decide how many characters from the description to display.

Show dividing line between groups

Check this if you want to show a line separating the groups in the listing.

Show number of members

Shows how many members the group has.

Show latest activity

Shows the date and time of the last activity in the group

Sort list

You can choose to sort the list by three options:

• Alphabetical
• Number of members
• Latest group activity

Fonts

Group name

Here you specify the style sheet for the group name.

Group type

Here you enter the font for the group type.

Description

Here you enter the font for the group's description (if there is one - otherwise nothing is displayed).

Role in group

Here you enter the font for the role in the group the user has.
