Messages - Login Configuration

Messages - Settings is a module that is needed if you want to use the Messages feature as a desktop app on your computer. The module manages the connection and login between the intranet on the web and the desktop app.

Go to the add-on view and under settings, select the OAut2 configuration that you set up to handle login to the app. To see how to set up the configuration, go to the Messages guide.

Open up for calls

Select the latest version of the ‘Messages - Settings’ add-on, select the cogwheel icon and choose “Properties”. Go to ‘Restrictions’.

Here you need to add permissions for "Anonymous" and "Logged in users".

HTTP methods:

• Anonymous: GET
• Logged-in users: GET, POST, PUT, DELETE

Under restrictions for "Cross-origin" calls, "Do not allow from any other domain" may be checked. Now you can click "OK" and save your changes.
