Desktop Notifications

The Desktop Notifications module is for a user to be notified of social events on the intranet. All that needs to be done is to place the app somewhere in the basic template. This way it will be present on all pages of the intranet.

When will I be notified?

A notification is created when:

  • You are mentioned in a post or comment
  • Someone leaves a comment on your post or comments on the same post as you
  • Someone shares your post
  • Someone adds you as a contact
  • If you are a group administrator and a member is added to your group
  • Someone likes your post or comment
  • A post is created in a group where you are a member
  • A file is added to one of your groups or an existing file is updated
  • Someone adds a shared link in a group you are a member of

Allow browser notifications

When you log in to the intranet, you will be asked to allow the browser to send notifications to your desktop.

If you missed accepting notifications, you can click on the "padlock" in the address bar and select "Allow" or "Permit".

Turn off notifications in the browser

By clicking on the padlock in the address bar, you can turn off notifications from the website.

Blockera notifikationer

You need to allow the browser to send notifications to your computer in order to receive notifications.

This feature requires you to have the Sitevision Intranet license

This is a module from Sitevision Marketplace. To download it, go via the menu in the navigator -> Marketplace in the edit mode of your website.
