User fields

The User Fields module is used to display information about users.

User fields

Settings for how user fields should work are made via central settings on the website. Appearance and which user fields should be visible are made via the module's settings.

Use custom user fields

Check the Use a custom set of user fields box to display user fields, other than those preselected in the large view, on a profile page. You can choose from all the user fields added under the central settings.

To add a field, click on the Add user field link. This will display the available fields in the list:

The following options are available

• Show field names
• Show no field names
• Show value after field name
• Show value below field name
• Text format - Here you can choose between Heading/Section Heading/Subheading/Overhead (which you set under Themes)

Button settings

Show the Edit button

Here you choose whether an Edit button should appear below the user fields if you have the right to edit them.

Button size

Available to choose from Large, Medium, Small and Slim.

Button color

Available to choose from Standard, Secondary, Primary and Profile (which is taken from Theme settings)

Editing

When editing, fill in the values of the fields you want to change and press "Save". If any of the fields are configured to validate the filled value, and the filled value is not filled correctly, an error message will be displayed.
