Settings Intranet comments

Settings

Allow mentions (@name)

Here you can choose whether mentions should be allowed in the activity feed

Moderated mode, administrator must approve each comment

All comments must first be approved by the administrator(s) before they are published on the page.

Show toolbar for text formatting

Here you can choose whether to display the toolbar for text formatting for those who write comments.

Limit number of days you can comment

If you want the page to be open for comments for a certain number of days, you can set this here. The date the page was created counts as the first day.

If the box is checked, it is not possible to unlock new comments directly in the interface; instead, this must be done by unchecking the box in the settings.

Select a metadata for the author of the page

You can use metadata to designate the author of the page. The page will then have "author" next to the name when posting comments. The author of the page will also receive notifications when a new comment is posted on the page.

Sorting

Here you can choose how to sort the comments:

  • Newest to oldest
  • Oldest to newest

Accessibility

Base heading level

To ensure that you have the correct heading levels in the module, we have added an h2 as the default heading level. Here you can change this to suit your design and ensure the correct heading level. You can change this to anything from h1 to h6 to match the correct heading level in the activity feed.

Administrators

Administrators must have write access

Select administrators

Here you add the people who will be able to administer the comments. That is, moderate, delete, and edit comments. Click on the Add link to add an administrator. Remove an administrator by selecting that person in the list and clicking on the cross to the right.

If you want visitors to be able to submit comments, one or more administrators must be designated here (since the form is sent to the administrators).

Select a metadata for the administrator

You can also select metadata to designate an administrator (must point to the user's ID and be set up on the page)

Target pages

Use a custom profile page to show details about users

Here you can set what happens when you click on the profile picture. You want to go to the profile page.
