Events
The module is used to display events. The module displays the events that have the metadata on and off dates and the labels or selections that you set. It does not matter if it is a web page or an article.
Upcoming events are displayed in the calendar.

Settings in the module

Metadata
Here you designate the Metadata for event start date and Metadata for event end date.
For Events to work, these two metadata are required.
These fields must be indexed for the Events module to be able to find and display the information.
The module only shows upcoming events. However, if an event ends at a certain time of day, the event is still visible for that whole day.
Use tags from metadata
Regular labels are always available and do not need a special link, but this box must be checked if you want to use tags as single or multiple choice metadata. Then point out which metadata you want to use in the list.

Selection
Restrict which structures to include in the selection
If you want to display events only from certain structures on the website, select this option. Click on the Add link to add the structures (sub-branches) from which you want to display events.
Restrict events to selected tags
Here you enter a tag if you want the module to display only events that are marked with a special tag.
Limit the number of events to display
Here you choose how many events to display. Then a view appears where you can fill in the number.

Event content
Here you select the content you want to display in the Events module. The following are available to choose:
- Date - retrieves from your metadata you set up for dates
- Image - retrieves SV.Image which is the default metadata on all archives. If the image is an event in an article in an archive, you do not need to do anything. If you want to display a page in the list of events, the SV.Image metadata must be there.
- Heading - retrieves from the page or article name.
- Text - Retrieves primarily from whether there is a linked module (SV.Description). If not, we take the summary from the indexing.
- Tags - shows the tags that the article/page is labeled with.
The event is displayed with the event content you selected in the list. The events are displayed in the order you selected the content in the list.
Change the order of content in the list
You can change the order in which the event is displayed using the arrows.
Remove content
For example, if you don't want to show labels, click on the cross on the right.

Labels will then appear in the list under "Unselected content".
